ARTISAN / MAKER

Are you a skilled craftsperson with a passion for working with your hands? We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our team and assist in the creation, finishing, and assembly of our exceptional products. If you have an eye for detail, enjoy working with your hands, and have a genuine curiosity about craft, we would love to hear from you.

At Matt Alford Studio, we pride ourselves on our ability to reimagine traditional designs through a modern lens. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented craftsperson to help us maintain our high standards of quality and precision.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assembly and creation of lighting fixtures and hardware
  • Ensure products meet our strict quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with our design team to bring concepts to life
  • Communicate regularly with the Production Coordinator and Logistics team to maintain smooth operation and supply levels
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

  • Ability to work with a team and an ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive and healthy work environment
  • Previous experience in a similar craftsperson role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work with precision and accuracy
  • Skilled manual dexterity and use of tools
  • Passion for craftsmanship and a desire to learn and grow

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous metalworking or electrical experience
  • Familiarity with UL electrical standards and protocols

Hours & Location:

  • This position works full-time from our studio in West Hollywood, CA
  • 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday
