Sgraffito : 5.1

Created in collaboration with ceramic artist Clarke Ginn, our Sgraffito series is comprised of one-of-a-kind light fixtures in black and white glazed ceramic. 

Clarke's artistic practice frequently revolves around a method known as "sgraffito." Translated literally as "to scratch," this technique entails carving through layers of slip to expose contrasting colors.  Employing an intuitive approach on hand-slabbed canopies, and complemented by our porcelain glass orbs, the resultant fixtures exude joy and celebration.

Sold individually, our hope is that pairs or clusters of these pieces may be installed together, creating a conversation between the playful patterns.
